James has been playing saxophone professionally for over 20 years,
he is one of the most booked sax players in the South West and is well sought after for all genres in his field. He was a Young Jazz Musician finalist for 2 years running and has played with Jools Holland and Pee Wee Ellis of James Brown/Van Morrison fame. James has a wealth of experience playing throughout the UK and is able to adapt to all genres with passion for each of them. His connection with other musicians and DJ's is effortless and creates an infectious energy around the dance floor.James never disappoints and has a totally captivating style to his playing. |
James has toured extensively with his Saxophone over the past few years, playing at many festivals, nightclubs, events and parties. He has grown up listening to and playing dance music and started working with DJ's over 10 years ago at exclusive private parties before being asked to play at nightclubs and festivals. James regularly works alongside top DJ's throughout the Southwest as well as Mark Radford from Ministry of Sound and Thomas Joules from Rudimental. James never fails to amaze the audience with his perfected performance and produces a highly interactive set whilst staying fully connected with the DJ. Beatbelt
Beatbelt is quite possibly the most 'in demand' Jazz Funk quartet in the Southwest, if you've ever had the pleasure of listening to them play, then you will know why. Made up of four musicians who have all mastered their instruments over many years and with a wealth of experience in live performing, they effortlessly blend high intensity with crowd pleasing performances. Expect lots of 'well known' numbers you are familiar with, as well as ones you aren't, but all of which are given the Beatbelt treatment! Its intense, infectious and incredibly enjoyable.
